An NOS J cam was used as the pattern for the cam lobes. It is made of 8620 Alloy steel, case hardened to the proper depth and finish ground for a precision finish. All turning and milling work was done in-house by us on CNC equipment and the gear teeth were professionally cut by a full-time gear shop. A great deal of effort was expended in the fixturing to ensure for proper orientation between the gear teeth and the cam lobes. The bushings are
un-reamed so the motor builder can fit it to the stud in your cases.
